Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Parse, the prompt security API and related services provided by Parse ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our API, website, or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Parse provides an API security platform that screens AI agent prompts for prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, and other adversarial threats. Our services include:
- Prompt risk analysis via POST /v1/parse with regex, LLM, and sandbox-based detection
- Output screening via POST /v1/screen-output
- Agent trust verification via POST /v1/agent/trust/verify
- Media credibility analysis and evaluation endpoints
- API key management, policy configuration, and usage analytics
We offer multiple plans including Free, Pro ($49/mo), Team ($199/mo), Enterprise, and x402 pay-per-call pricing. See our pricing page for current details.
2. Account Registration and API Keys
2.1 API Keys
- You may generate API keys via POST /v1/keys/generate
- You are solely responsible for the security and use of your API keys
- You must keep your keys confidential and not share them with unauthorized parties
- You are responsible for all activity conducted using your keys
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach
2.2 Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
3. Payment and Billing
3.1 Subscription Plans
- Paid plans (Solo, Pro, Team, Enterprise) are billed monthly via Stripe
- Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle until cancelled
- You may cancel at any time through the customer portal or by contacting support
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

3.2 x402 Pay-Per-Call
- For pay-per-call usage, payments are made in USDC via the x402 protocol on the Base L2 blockchain
- Each API call requires a separate on-chain payment
- Failed payments will result in the request being denied
3.3 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your use of the Service, other than taxes on our net income.
4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or breach security measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to develop competing security products without authorization
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written consent
- Exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
- Submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others

5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Rights
The Service, including its software, algorithms, detection patterns, documentation, and branding, is owned by Parse and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks, service marks, or trade names.
5.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the prompts and content you submit to the API. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for providing the security analysis you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5.3 Analysis Results
Risk scores, flags, and other analysis output returned by the Service are provided for your internal use. You may use them in your applications and systems.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL DETECT ALL SECURITY THREATS. SECURITY ANALYSIS RESULTS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND SHOULD NOT BE YOUR SOLE SECURITY MEASURE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING YOUR OWN SECURITY CONTROLS.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Parse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Parse's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim
- Parse shall not be liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or failure to detect a security threat
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parse and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all API keys will be revoked and your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) shall remain in effect.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the appropriate courts.
12. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Parse
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely
